Wassailing Candle

Wassail + Cloves + Amber

The term wassail is derived from an ancient toast meaning "be in good health". Over time, it became associated with a mulled wine beverage called wassail and the winter solstice tradition of wassailing. Wassailing involves participants singing songs and sharing wassail - either door to door or as part of a ritual to awaken and appease the tree spirits in apple orchards. It is a practice intended to bestow good health and fortune, just like this candle! The scent is very fruity but sophisticated and not too sweet. The sprinkling of cloves aids in protection and positive energy, while the amber promotes healing and happiness.
